The
Choral Society of Durham has earned
a reputation as one of the Southeasts finest symphonic choruses. The
150-voice mixed chorus includes members from all walks of life,
selected by audition from throughout North Carolinas Triangle
area.
Our 2011–2012 concert season celebrates Rodney Wynkoops 25th anniversary as conductor of the Choral Society. Coming in 2012 are a third Historical Bach concert with the Mallarmé Chamber players; the Berlioz Requiem in Duke Chapel; and Carl Orffs Carmina Burana at the Durham School of the Arts.
